Only Men Aloud!
....anyone who knows me realises how worrying that sentance could actually be, but yeah, I've been thinking about three crosovers I've been planning and also about the future of a certain other journal of mine...

See about two years ago I joined a Stargate Atlantis RPG and had to set up a journal for my character Sgt Tim Kagan ( [info]tim_kagan )  I this doesn't work this time I swear......there are three Stargate Atlantis crossover ideas under this damn cut if LJ will allow it.....grrr!!!!  )

Only Men Aloud!

Title: Alternative

Rating: PG/12 ish

Warnings/spoilers: only if you haven’t seen that episode in series one and you’re not keen on slash

Author notes: Thank you a million times to the fabulous fififolle for betaing!

Power Rangers fic: Do Not Enter

  • May. 24th, 2009 at 1:02 PM
Ben

It’s been quite a while since I’ve written anything for Power Rangers and this was written during one of my lunchtimes at work so I hope its ok. It was written using the prompt “Like a door marked ‘Do Not Enter’” and it’s a Trent fic.

Warnings: depending on which way you tilt your head there may be a hint of slash but it can most definitely be read as either gen or slash; whichever way your ship sails

Disclaimer: They don’t belong to me.

Rating: PG/12 ish if I'm being paranoid and careful.

He can still feel it sometimes. That raw power; that shred of evil still inside of him. )

Only Men Aloud!

Oh yes!

Last night I went to see ONLY MEN ALOUD! In the Cardiff International Arena and quite frankly there is not enough squee or positive words in the multiverse to adequately sum up how fantastically incredible last night’s show was.

OMA aren’t your stereotypical choir; far from it. They are very capable of doing anything and everything with flair and style, creating the most gorgeous sound that you are ever likely to hear. Not to mention the dancing, the cane routines, kick choruses or what they can do with a Tom Jones Medley….*guh*

OMA all the Way!!! )

Only Men Aloud!

Well since it's been a few months since I've said anything in this journal I thought I'd better come back and give a mention to my latest plan which could either: work really well and get repeated in some form or blow up spectacularly in my face (guess which of those two options I think is more likely...)

Crazy plan under cut )

Consider me impressed!

Only Men Aloud!

Oh bloody hell I should not be up this late/early and I certainly shouldn't probably be posting but I need to get this post done; I can't believe it's taken me this long to get around to it.

This Wednesday past (January 21st) I went down to London to see Oliver!

Yes, you read correctly Oliver! The show that had it's Nancy and Olivers (three fantastic kids) cast on national TV and can also boast Blackadder, Owen Harper from Torchwood and Davros (Davros!!!) as part of it's large cast.

To put it simply it was incredible.

To put it slightly less simply it was incredible, brilliant, amazing, awesome, fantastic, stupendous, supercalifragi-wait wrong musical- , ......as many positive comments that could be imagined and a couple more besides. In short there is not enough squee in the multiverse to express how I felt about that show.

I'm reviewing, the situation..... )

In short......YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keith
My Oliver ticket arrived today!

I've booked tickets to go see Only Men Aloud! in Cardiff in May!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm quite satisfied with the choice made for Doctor number 11. It should be rather interesting to see him in action.

Demons.....not completely sure how I feel about it but I know I'll be watching it next week, so that's ok.

Hurrah!

2008!!!! Is it really nearly 2009?

Only Men Aloud!

Can you believe that tomorrow is New Year’s Eve? I can’t. 2008 seems to have gone by so damn quickly; it’s ridiculous! For a year that’s gone by so fast though it has been pretty good…..

Last night I went to see EVITA in the New Theatre Cardiff, with Seamus Cullen as Che.

When he left Any Dream Will Do he promised in his exit song that he would get a show of his own.....and boy did he make good on that promise!

Oh what a show! )Oh what a show! )

keeper

Title: Unreal yet somehow ending.
Author: sparxxa
Fandom: Stargate Atlantis
Pairing: Stackhouse/Markham (implied)
Warning: Slash
Rating: PG/12ish
Notes: Written for spook-me Halloween 2008 challenge using the prompts: Ghost(s), Brides of Blood, Scream and Scream Again.
I may not have managed to write horror this time around but I did get all three prompts in!
Thanks: To[info]fififolle for offering to be my beta, I'm sorry I didn't finish it in time! And to my work colleagues for their support.
Notes 2: Set season 5ish. Stackhouse's point of view.
Spoilers: Season one. (just to be on the safe side)

This isn't right; even for this place. This shouldn't be happening. )
Only Men Aloud!
Camp Rock is a pretty good film with some fantastic songs.

I've booked myself a ticket to go see Oliver in London in January! YAY!!!!

Merlin is rather good (am I bad for thinking of the slash potential already?)

Watching Lord of the Rings Two Towers makes me miss the days when me and my best mate from uni would do  Lord of the Rings extended versions movie marathons.

Got my prompts for spook_me Halloween challenge.....I've got some ideas, but I've never written horror/creepiness before. So I is scared but it will be a Stargate Atlantis, Stackhouse/Markham fic....if anyone is interested......

Think that's everything.....
Only Men Aloud!

After weeks of exciting and enthralling choir performances from a range of different choirs the result is finally in and one choir has been named the BBC's LAST CHOIR STANDING!

And the winner is....................
The Last Choir Standing is........... )

We Will Rock You!!

Well to put it simply: It ROCKS!!!

My friend R-- and I went to see it yesterday in London to celebrate our 23rd birthdays (our birthdays are on the same day *shrugs*) and it was absolutely Brilliant!

The sets, music, lights, acting were all incredible. The songs, (Queen!!!!!!!!), were phenomenal. I loved the story, all the references, the characters, everything. It was all just marvellous.

I've fallen for the rebel bohemians (I do seem to fall for the minor characters a lot...) and now plan to write fanfic!!

Anyway, if you're in the UK, headed to London then I totally recommend We Will Rock You.

Fantastic!!!!!

Sorry, posted very quickly, in a rush............Yay for We Will Rock You!!!!!!!!
